INTRODUCTION


Chess is a timeless strategy game where two players compete to outmaneuver each other's pieces. Strategically place your pieces on a checkered board and use your intellect and tactics to anticipate your opponent's moves. The first player to checkmate the enemy's king emerges as the victor. A classic fusion of strategy, logic, and wit awaits!


RULES


  • Setup: Arrange your pieces on the board following the prescribed starting positions. Each player has different types of pieces with unique movements.


  • Gameplay: Take turns moving your pieces on the board, aiming to capture the opponent's pieces and eventually checkmate their king.


  • Capturing: When a piece moves onto a square occupied by an opponent's piece, the captured piece is removed from the game.


  • Winning: The game continues until one player successfully puts the opponent's king in checkmate, which means the king is threatened with capture and has no legal move to escape.
